"If you want an economical alternative, this might be for you. Unless it's rush hour, it's a cheap $3 15-minute Uber ride to the Walled City. The rooms are clean and the staff really try to please. Our view was an air shaft and another room's window. The breakfast is limited but freshly made and includes fruit, sugary juice blends, egg dishes and coffee. "Unfortunately I had a terrible stay here. Check in was a nightmare despite me having booked the room online. You have to buzz into the hotel, and no one told me and it wasn't clear - just a locked door in front of you. They tried to say I didn't pay and finally I had to show them my booking to convince them otherwise. It didn't get any better as my room was dirty with hair and dirt all over the bathroom. The girl then went around some empty rooms to try find a clean one, finally on the 5th one...

"As we live in Colombia, the location was OK for us, however, still being cautious, we had the hotel order taxis for us. It is a bit of a drive back to the Walled City & any beaches, but we found only a couple dollars more that if we had been closer. Staff was awesome. We liked have the little frig in the room, there was a microwave we could use AND there are snacks & drinks available in the lobby. We are keeping this on our future visit to Cartagena list . . . "The staff in the hotel was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast options were good and it’s super close to a quiet and more private beach.The hotel was super nice and clean overall. The only con was that sometimes it would smell like sewer and I didn’t mind it that much but it’s a bit of a drive to the city so just keep that in mind. Overall I had a great stay there!"

"It’s more for a next day flight day. It’s too far from the historic center & La bodeguita, which is where you take the water boats. Traffic gets crazy! The room was HUGE & clean. The bathroom was super nice! I loved it! The balcony view !!!! Was the best!!! Breakfast was very good & since we had a morning trip , we could take it to go. "

"From the time of arrival at 3AM the receptionist was customer oriented my room was clean and cleaned daily . The breakfast great. Two to three minutes walk to the airport. Everyone of the hotel employees were decent. Highly recommended . The air-conditioning was great , water pressure great"
