"When I went to pick this hotel I read many reviews of the accommodations available in Alicante. After much scrutinizing I eventually booked a room at this hotel. We had just finished walking the Camino and just wanted a nice place to relax. When I walked into Odyssey we were greeted by Jesus who was very nice. When we walked into our rooms I felt immediate relief. It was very clean, spacious and was a sight for my sore eyes. We rented a room with a kitchen which was very convenient for breakfast. There is a roof top terrace with amazing views. I want to mention also Yolanda who also worked at the reception desk was so lovely and helpful to us. This property is very close to the beach but yet set back enough that you don't hear all the traffic noise on the main street. Everything is close by - even the convenience store around the corner that carried everything you could possibly want - Duct tape, rain poncho and a sticker of the Spanish Flag. Great Indian restaurant down the way and great Italian Restaurants. Loved this hotel. "

"The room was the same good standard that we have been accustomed to and why we continuously book the Ibis Hotel Alicante for our overnight stays after flights from the airport. On this occasion the staff at reception and at the bar and breakfast were not as welcoming as normal, we felt there has been a change in management possibly? The staff did not seem as happy as before. However the room was very clean and we enjoyed the sea view to wake up to. We will definitely be returning. "

"I booked this as had an early flight, booked half board.arrived at hotel directed to parking all info given and i asked for a kettle and got one. Evening meal was a choice of 3 starters main and pudding all excellent. I used the sauna which was nice clean and hot.as i was leaving so early before breakfast they did a breakfast box which was very nice. Ordered at reception.overall a great hotel"
