"This was our second time staying at the Ramada by Wyndham Istanbul Old City and we had a wonderful experience again! The facility is conveniently located within minutes from a tram station and has plenty of dining options. But what attracts us the most is it's friendly and helpful staff! "When I arrived after making a booking on Expedia, the front desk had no idea about it. They wanted me to pay them again. I called the manager and they cleared it up. There was luke warm water only. They said the boiler had just been fixed and needed time to warm up. But worst of all, I sat on the queen bed and half of it collapsed. It must have been broken already. I’m not that big. Underneath the mattress there was cracked cardboard! On a good note, the property was clean. But certainly not...

"Hotel located in the center and close to the metro. BUT ... The room is very small, the bedding is dirty, the electrical wires of the air conditioning system hangs across the room, it was necessary to bend to pass underneath. Violent headache and vertigo at 2am for an unexplainable reason. This hotel seems to be a den of drug addicts. The deafening muezzin at 4am is not the worst, it does not last long and we go back to sleep quickly. Do not go!!!!"

"I spent about ten days in this nice hotel and I will definitely back there next time. First of all I am attracted by the very beautiful view of some historical buildings that could be seen from the back a huge glass wall on the top floor where their restaurant is placed. I will never forget the kindness of TUGCE, a young peofessional personal who offered me Turkish Kahve and delicious omlete. You don't want to leave the restaurant after finishing your breakfast because of the amazing view of the sultan ahmed and the blue mosque. "

Gorgeous Hotel!

"The Wyndham Grand Istanbul Kalamis Marina Hotel is a very elegant and grand hotel. The decor in the hotel is absolutely stunning, and the rooms are beautifully decorated. Our room was absolutely beautiful. The bed was comfy, and the decor was amazing! We were greeted by Ege who showed us around and accompanied us to our room. The front desk staff were also very accommodating, and the concierge was very helpful as well. Unfortunately, our breakfast at the Jiggers kitchen and bar restaurant was less than appetizing. My omelette had so much cheese on it, I could barely see the eggs. My boyfriend’s croissant had so much garlic on it that you could barely taste the eggs. After experiencing this breakfast, we declined to try the pricey buffet. The restaurant staff were friendly with the exception of one gentleman who was not very friendly at dinner one evening. Everyone else was very kind and helpful. Overall, this is an amazing hotel with great amenities. I didn’t find very many restaurants I liked within walking distance but there are some great restaurants on the famous Bagdat Street which is a short taxi ride away. If you want to stay in a beautiful hotel with gorgeous, spacious rooms, this is the place to be when visiting the Asian side of Istanbul. "

"This is a beautiful hotel that seems to have been renovated recently as it is in excellent condition. My room and bathroom were beautifully appointed. The dining and reception area are scenic with excellent service. I also enjoyed the gym and spa. "
