"Booked for 2 nights, first visit too Birmingham so was excited to see as much as possible. Check in was fine, paid for parking in the Britannia car park. Had to pay a hotel deposit on booking in. Had a superior room on the 15th floor, greeted by a birthday card and small bottle of Prosecco and a couple of chocolates which was a lovely surprise. Clean room and good breakfast

"We stayed in an accessible family room, the bed was very comfortable, the sofa bed wasn’t so comfortable but managed to sleep and even though on a busy street the room was always quiet. The breakfast was good with a good make your own waffle option that I’d not seen before and had for breakfast both day. The only annoying thing about the breakfast area is the number of family that let their kids use their iPad with no headphones and volume on ( maybe head down early to avoid this)."

No frills - good value for city centre.

"Very clean. All frills removed which is why it is so inexpensive for a city centre hotel. Be aware some rooms don’t have windows. I now make sure I get a room with a window. There also isn’t a kettle or way to make drinks in your room, but you can buy drinks downstairs. If you only need your hotel to sleep in this is absolutely fine."
