"As you’ll have seen from the other reviews, this really is a great place to stay. It’s a new build, so clean and modern. Really enjoyed the outdoor bathroom. The staff were exceptional. "Had a wonderful stay at this traditional style, arty and well appointed boutique resort. Dolcemare has beautiful grounds and is extremely well located for the best part of Gili Air. Our whole stay was fantastic, made better by all the personal and thoughtful touches, such as sarongs and kimonos in the room, and a selection of considerate amenities ranging from toothbrushes, face masks & sanitary products. "Stayed at Salili for 5 nights in January 2025. Booked the 2 beach facing bungalows. As this is low / rainy season, the hotel grounds were a little bare, however, this is to be expected. Beds comfortable, with mosquito nets provided. "The place is really beautiful. The receptionist was very sweet person. She arranged snorkelling tour, laundry, transport at a very cheap rate. She also gave us little turtle souvenirs. The place is deep inside the island 2km from the port, so it's better to take a horse carriage. The area is a little quiet and dark at the night, so i suggest you to take a torch with you. The pool is very salty, but if you wanna chill by the pool there's a lot of areas. The canteen inside is decent."

"This place is beautiful and quiet and well-staffed. We were delayed by two days due to bad weather, but the staff welcomed us with open arms and shifted our dates with no hassle. Our room is clean and comfortable. The pool is fabulous. And the location is convenient to the beach and on a quieter side of the island. Not to be missed is the included breakfast. Wow. You will not to hungry. "

"Our stay at Gili Air Lagoon was most enjoyable and of a tropical environment standard. The room was clean, cool and tidy and the staff were extremely helpful. The problem with reviews is that people tend to forget where they are and that they are on holidays. If you want alll the luxuries of home don’t go on holidays then. We go on holidays with no expectations and are always delighted and surprised by our experience, Gili Air Lagoon was another wonderful experience. From being serenaded on arrival to being provided with a great opportunity to live within this unique and wondrous part of Indonesia. It’s a 5 out of 5 from us and we hope to be back again real soon. "
