"Nice private villas in a great location. Just a few minutes walk from the north and west side of the island with a good selection of bars and restaurants. Staff here very friendly and helpulful. Earplugs a requirment (provided at the villa) for the very early morning call to prayer from the Mosque. I am sure this will aplly to any accomodation on the island. All in all the villas and island were a great place to stay and would have gladly done more time here. "

"A private bungalow with plunge pool in the centre of the island. Good location and 10-15 minutes walk from anywhere on Gili Air. Staff in the hotel were very friendly, considerate to provide earplugs for the Muslim prayers which were on and off pretty much all day and at 04.30 every morning. Room was fairly clean but there could have been more attention to detail especially the bathroom. Some of the furniture and fittings are old and need to be replaced. "Das Highlight der Villa war der tolle Pool und der offene Wohnbereich. Der Bäder sind teilweise offen und etwas muffelig. Das Frühstück war leider wenig abwechslungsreich, man konnte zwischen 3 Pancake-Gerichten, Rührei und Nasi Goreng wählen. Kaffee gab es keinen, wenn dann man muss man ihn selbst machen. "The villa was even better than the pictures. The villa was really spacious for our family of four. Having a private pool in our private garden was a bonus. The staff at Rimba villas went out of their way to make our visit special, even recommending local restaurants and things to do. I especially liked that they contacted me ahead of our visit to ask if I had any requests and had our bike rentals already arranged when we arrived. "
