This hotel is not easy to find as the entrance is just a door under a sign with a security lock and intercom. When you go in you go into an ‘office’ hallway, with a sign that says the hotel is on the 6th floor. When you get to the 6th floor it is very different, it is basically an old office area that has been turned into a hotel. The reception staff were very pleasant, and the bedrooms are small but functional. The difference, and what makes it so nice is that there is a lounge to use with tea and coffee making facilities, slices of cake and ice creams to help yourself to. They have a “kitchen” for breakfast. The choice was limited, but the hot food was good (and hot). Unfortunately the room is very noisy, the kitchen/ washing up area in directly attached with no door, and the plates etc are stored in cupboards in the dining area. Combined with hard wooden tables the whole place was noisy, but it was good value. Overall a good value hotel right in the middle of Glasgow, with nice little extras.
