"A family of four, we stayed in one of the junior suites, with a queen bed and a converted sofa bed. The room was very spacious, had large closet space, and the bath came with double sinks. The room had floor-to-ceiling windows with an absolutely breathtaking view over the Bodensee. Staff was all very friendly, though despite us speaking German and English, at times there were some language-based communication challenges with restaurant staff that could be improved. "Well, if you want to visit Schaffhausen, and who wouldn't, this is certainly the place to stay if you are either driving on coming by train. The parking is next door, as is the station. Room was large, clean and comfortable and the hotel's restaurant/bar really nice. It is convenient to everything, and walking distance to all you would want to see. A fantastic place to visit and to stay. Would highly recomment do anyone."

"I had made a mistake with the booking (booked on the wrong date, so had to book again), so it was a little bit last minute. The hotel itself is adequate, although finding the parking garage is not straight-forward (the hotel personnel was helpful enough to find it, though) and although the city center is walkable, it's not super close. Since we were there on a holiday, many things were closed the next day, so we moved on to our next destination around noon."
