Bed & pillows a bit hard but preferences differ, one bedside cabinet had drawer missing & framed picture on wall stained with what looked like red paint, bathroom door creaked loudly. "This is a lovely little place with a great pub with really friendly staff and great food. Excellent dog walk on the other side of the road. The room has a fridge microwave kettle and toaster. The owner was a bit stressed about the shower having failed but they had called a plumber and all was fixed with no problems and lots of apologies. Would recommend!!"

"All in all nice little cottage for a couple and good as was pet friendly to go up Durham to visit our son up uni and take our dog to see him too. Cottage was nice a little place although i think the tv was slightly too high on wall. As we arrived there were 3 plumbing vans parked outside so had to park out side another cottage for bout hour n half till they moved their vans after going in pub at front of cottages before parking own car then outside our own cottage. "We stayed as a group of 8 ladies, we we watching a show at the stage making this apartment the perfect location. Directly outside the metro station, with a few minutes walk. The apartment had everything we needed, it was spotlessly clean and the beds were super comfy. Would highly recommend "

"Excellent service by the staff and the room is great for the price. In a great location to walk around Newcastle as well. My only one issue was there was some spiders in my room, most likely due to the bathroom not being super clean. I was only there for one night so didn't make a fuss. I would definitely come back however, love the location and was comfortable."
