"We spent a very pleasant 3 nights at this new hotel in Edinburgh. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly, and the hotel itself is comfortable, well-appointed, and tastefully designed. The location is quiet whilst still being perfect for exploring the city, and there are numerous excellent cafes and restaurants within walking distance. We would happily return to The Resident again for our next trip to Edinburgh and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. "

"Home away from home! Loved the area- within walking distance to everything we wanted to do, and easy access to bus and tram if needed. No need to pay a fortune for transfers to/from the airport with the bus stop a block away. Close to a grocery store and had everything we needed in our little suite to cook our own meals. Loved that we could even do our own laundry during our stay. Cute, cozy, super clean, and sooo comfortable. Definitely recommend it!"
