"Stayed in the Juliet room. The place is okay. Penny grocery store just down the street was nice. But the kitchen is kinda gross and smelly. The bathroom is fairly clean. The bed is worn out from having a single person sleep on it so you both roll into the middle which sucks. Friendly host. It's passable but I wouldn't recommend to my friends. "

"The rooms are nice and clean. Feels like a studio. I like the location being right by the grocery store (REWE) and several cafes, bakeries, and dining options. It’s right by the train station. There’s also tons of walking paths nearby. We walked all the way to the famous cathedral. The only down side is there is no one at the reception and it is self check in. "I found Clayton to be an excellent choice for my stay. The Japanese quarter is a stones throw away and there are plenty of very nice restaurants around. The property itself was really impressive and I will be staying at Clayton for all future Düsseldorf trips "

Quality hotel and quality service

"A fantastic hotel with outstanding service. Rooms are clean, fresh and comfortable with a very modern feel. Right next to the train lines behind the hotel, but don’t let this put you off as it is extremely quiet, even in a room facing the tracks! Have stayed here in about 5 separate occasions now and would not return if we weren’t happy! A 5 minute walk away from the train station and the Cathedral. We were even found a room for check in when we arrived very early at about 9am! What great customer care. 100% recommended. "

"This hotel was better than I expected. Did not have any noise issues since my room was facing the back instead of the front where the tram runs. Room and bed were very comfortable and breakfast was good too. Staff was friendly too despite past reviews - maybe I was friendly to them so they were friendly to me. Great location as both trains and buses just steps away as well as grocery store."
