"This was the nicest place to stay, we hade the quadruple room on the ground floor and it was perfect for us. The bed was great as it was adjustable. We had arrived early after an overnight ferry and the host was happy to give us access well before the check in time , which meant we could have an unexpected trip to Brussels (which he helped us with, giving us advice on the local trains etc).. "I stayed at this hotel for an overnight stop. Friendly welcome. Clean and comfortable room. Everything in very good condition. Reasonably quiet - a bit of traffic noise but even with the window open it didn't disturb. Basic breakfast with really nice fresh bread. Will use again if I'm in the area."

Excellent, very friendly and helpfulreceptionists!

"The staff went above and beyond to fullfil all my needs. The temperature in the room was rather cold (very cold weather outside) and I couldn't figure out how the air con works. The receptionist listened to me carefully and then then sent someone to only adjust the temperature in the room but left an additional heating unit in my room should if I need it. the only reason I gave 4 starts for comfort was the noise from outside. The location is central and I had a wonderful view from my room. It was just a bit loud. Maybe should have brought earplugs. Apart from that, both receptionists I had the pleasure of talking to were extremely welcoming, nice and polite. Really appreciate it, thank you! :)"

"I originally had a different hotel booked but changed to this one at the last minute since it was closer to the city center and I read another review saying how it was very close to a parking garage. It ended up being ideally located, especially its proximity to the parking garage. The exit door from the garage is literally across the street (literally a few steps since it isn't a wide street) from the entrance to the hotel! The hotel room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, there was a kitchenette in the room, and it was close enough to walk around the city. If you just need a place to sleep, this is just fine. It's clean, comfortable, and affordable. If you do plan on driving, be aware that the hotel is located in a "low emissions zone" so the vehicle you drive must comply or you can be fined. Google "low emissions zone" and Ghent to fully understand what this means if you plan to drive! I would definitely stay here again."
