Comfortable and a great location in the Hobart cbd - it was the perfect place to base ourselves while exploring around the city and surrounds. Parking is limited and an additional cost. There are however several EV chargers which can be booked via the reception (for an additional cost on top of the regular parking fee), but there are plenty of charging stations around Hobart CBD (including free ones!). "We had a wonderful stay at Bayview Villas. The rooms were spotless, and the bathroom and toilet were both modern and well-maintained. The views from our room were amazing. We appreciated the availability of laundry facilities, and the convenience of accessing towels and other amenities like coffee, sugar, and shampoo from the laundry room whenever needed. The only downside was that the upstairs bedrooms lacked fans or air conditioning. On a few hot days, it was a bit uncomfortable to sleep....

"Front office staff members and other staff members were all great. Property was close to everything you would want- restaurants, markets and festivals. The two things I would be keen to request the property is - rooms become too hot at night as it seemed there was an auto shutdown with the aircon and the pool facilities needs some attention regularly as well as the rules of safety around it. Rest was all nice. We enjoyed speaking to staff and staying at the property."

"Older hotel but large and comfortable. There is no lift. Due to this I got a room upgrade which was appreciated. The hotel is across the highway from the cbd so not very walkable. Its a bit awkward to find but if you have a car its all good after the first time locating it."

"Have just returned from a lovely few nights at The Vibe for my first visit to Hobart. The location is fantastic, a very short and easy walk to the water, many dining options both casual and a la carte, the shops, transport, everything. The staff were all friendly, a very clean room, beautiful building and foyer area. I was lucky to have a harbour view room, with the sun streaming in each morning. My only negative would be the expensive room service. Everything else was wonderful. "

"The shower cubicle needs a redesign. Water flows outside of the shower area, making it unsafe, as anyone can slip. We had to place a few floor mats to ensure water didn't flow outside. Guests should not be concerned about these, and the staff couldn't do anything but apologise. Sometimes, designers forget the most basic things while trying to make bathrooms look modern."
