"This hotel is a bit on the dated side. While the price was very reasonable and the staff was very helpful, it did feel a bit run down and tired. If you are a budget conscious traveler then likely this will fit the bill as it is safe and quite reasonably priced for the area. To be fair we were there in the shoulder season and maybe everything gets tidied up for the ski season. "This was one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever stayed in. From the ornate exterior to the finely furnished hallways and bedrooms wrought in finely carved wood. Against the backdrop of the Tyrolean mountains and the quaint village of Zirl, this hotel is a must if you’re in the area. Plus, the in-house restaurant, Restaurant Maximilian, was absolutely exquisite—Try the beef tartare, treat yourself! "
