"Excellent first stay at Amwaj Rotana highly recommend as the service was brilliant all round. However on the last two days the receptionist/front desk staff member WEIM was absolutely awful. I witnessed her on two separate occasions being rude to elderly guests - pulling faces, moaning and all round being a disgruntled employee. When my husband asked her if everything is ok as she was very grumpy she made a remark saying she didn’t ‘want to be here’ and would rather go home. It wasn’t pleasant...

"The place was not good when we arrived. The room were old and that electricity kept cutting off, but the man were amazing and they upgraded us to much better floor. The rest of the hotel is great. The location is fabulous and we had a great time. "

"Great stay, some of the bathrooms in the suite had issues, like one of the tubs was cracked,it should have been replaced. Not all bathrooms had hand towels, the pool tiles in areas were cracking etc. but overall the property is great and would stay again."

"Really good location for the beach, shopping and restaurants. Traffic after 11 is absolutely horrific. We had three taxis cancel on us from the Atlantis waterpark due to the location of this hotel. We had to get out of the taxi and walk 10/15 mins on multiple occasions because the traffic was so bad so just be warned. We had wings and fries at the pool and the fries were good but the wings were disastrous. The lifts are slow and take a while, one afternoon I was waiting 5-10 mins for a lift....
