"The hotel is on the promenade of Exmouth. Slightly tired and dated looking property, the lock on our door did not work but room a nice size and bed was comfortable, we had a view out to the sea which was nice. We did not eat in the hotel, we did use the bar which was small but fine. I would stay here again."

"A typical mid range seaside hotel. Like the curates egg, good in part. Trying to be objective but honest, so staff were nice, breakfast and dinner good and lovely sea views. On the other hand reception was a bit like a small guest house but it worked. " had a to remove the loo paper before you had your shower, otherwise one would get a soggy loo roll as it was situated to near the shower . We ate in the restaurant each evening and the food was very good. ... Personally, being in Lyme Regis, a little more fish on the menu would have been perfect. We would definately go again."

"Overall another lovely stay at The Kingswood. The lounge is lovely, the quiz a bonus and staff all delightful - special shoutout to Steve who is an asset all round. Lots of personal attention including remembering our son’s name. Breakfast is great quality and tasty with good choice. Room was a bit warm despite radiators being off and there’s no aircon. "What a lovely spot! Beautiful countryside and a very large and comfortable suite, The food in the restaurant was very well executed and reasonably priced. We would love to stay here again and have more time to explore the area."
