This place is terrific! Nice outdoor dining and seating areas, very clean, kitchenette is a nice touch. Rooms were very pretty and spacious. What lovely surprise! Waimea is a fun little town and gave us a different area to explore. Highly recommended.
The location was perfect for our stay, all the activities that we had planned for the weekend was in Waimea or Waikoloa Village so it was so much easier then staying in Kailua town or Waikoloa. All the staff members that we dealt with were super friendly and helpful!! This place reminded me of going to the outer island in the 60's and 70's, super "chilled vibe" If you are looking for the "Aloha Spirit" and not the "Mega-Resort" this is the place to stay!!
This place is absolutely charming. Waimea town is set in lush green cinder cones with cool tradewind breeze. So Hawaiian pastoral, the building is just one story like an old time motel. The room has mini kitchenette and comfortable beds. We enjoyed staying here.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
overall, an enjoyable spot. however, early morning landscaping noise was annoying along with gas powered leaf blowers. use electric!!
a written local station TV program guide would be useful. staff was friendly and helpful. furnishings were excellent. ice machine was great. grass mowers and leaf blowers should be electric, not noisy gas powered or use a broom!!

Nice warm comfortable bedding, fur extra blankets. Helpful, smiling, accommodating staff. Food, stores, restaurants within 1/2 mile
Our stay was amazing until the electricity went off. Ended up taking tepid shower verses the hot desired temperature one in the early sunlight. It did rain, hard with lightning and thunder that night. The electricity did come back about 7:30 AM, but after my short shower.
A very convenient location for staying in Waimea-- there are two supermarkets and one health store across near by. Several restaurants/coffee shops within a mile and a lovely 1 mile (2 mile round trip) nature path across the street. It is a bit of a drive to Kona or Hilo but still accessible. Email the hotel with your information (email address) even if you intend to check in before 4 PM (flight delays etc) so they can email you with how to check in after hours. Staff were friendly in person and on the phone. In addition to a coffee maker, my standard room had a mini fridge which allowed me to store snacks/produce w/o fear of spoilage or pests.
