"Clean,quiet and safe. Close to shopping and transportation.Friendly staff. Dining onsite. There was no wall or alarm clock in the room. Only local channels available on the tv. No English language channels. No bright lighting in the wash room especially in front of the mirror for shaving or make up. Stayed 10 nights, these are very important necessities for a long stay. Please convey this to the Hotel management. Didn' t get room on the requested floor( at the time of booking) due to mobility...

"The Thiruvambadi is a great hotel. It’s in a convenient spot at the very end of the cliff ‘strip’ so, if you turn left out of the hotel, you’ve can walk along the clifftop past lots of shops and an endless choice of restaurants. However, turn left and you’re soon wandering along quiet, picturesque beaches. The aquarium’s good too. "the location is amazing ...overlooking the sea with access to wide open beaches and no people - a big contrast to Verkala north cliff beach. The place was clean , modern and the staff went out of their way to assist us with adapters, taxis, etc... The food was excellent though a bit overpriced. I would love to visit again !"

"The pictures posted to advertise this place and rating as 4-star was deceiving. We booked deluxe rooms, on entry the reception area was dark, no proper lighting and looked like we walked into haunted place. On entry to room, all I can smell was cigarettes smoke, room was unkempt, the walls were filthy, peeling of wallpapers or paint, stained chairs, flickering light in the toilet, chipped cups etc.. List gets bigger and bigger, I don't want to waste any further time with a review for this hotel...

"Very old rooms, water not coming in bathroom washbasin, sometimes no water in commode. Lot of construction happening in the hotel. Limited vegetarian food choice. "
