"HOSHINOYA met our high expectations - but many of the notes from other reviewers rang true. Overall we really enjoyed it and would recommend. 1. We stayed 3 nights. Even if you have the budget, wouldn't recommend staying much longer than that as some of the rituals get a bit tired after a couple days (such as taking off shoes when entering). 2. "Well situated in a quiet suburb of greater Tokyo. Many small businesses and convenience stores in the local area. Would stay here again, but be aware that the coin dryer is not as efficient as those in North America and can take several hours to dry clothes. It's best to hang dry in sunny weather."
