"Outstanding apartment in the more affluent area of downtown Paphos. Spotlessly clean with high end furnishings and fixtures it’s amazing value for money. The only thing letting them down are the views (or lack of them) but don’t let that put you off. The pool area was quiet with comfortable sunbeds and the reception staff could not have been more helpful at all times. We would definitely book again if we ever came back to Cyprus. "

"Cheap cheerful accommodation in a quiet and safe location. The host is very friendly and welcoming. The apartment itself is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a budget holiday. It has a kitchen area with large fridge, oven, microwave, kettle and plenty of cutlery with pots and pans. "This is a lovely place to stay, but it does need a bit of tlc. Apparently there are plans to do some work soon. The pool is a good size and only 1.2m deep so quite safe. Our Villa as ok, but there were a few problems: worst, no smoke alarms! The extractor in the kitchen didn’t work, the oven had no shelves or grill pan, there was no microwave or toaster, not enough crockery, cutlery or glasses. No coathangers in the bedrooms. "Enjoyed our stay here. Some property issues (fridge broken but they replaced it the next month t, air conditioning unit leaking) but the room was nice and the pool very clean. Would have been difficult to get a sun lounger if it had been any fuller. Food on site was better than expected. "I always say that I would never stay at the same hotel twice when going on holiday. However, Ivi Mare is that good I would absolutely return and encourage others to book here. It was my first experience of Cyprus and it is certainly up there with the best experiences I’ve had on holiday. Upon arrival we were given an upgrade, although they never actually told us. We only realised when we discovered the hot tub on our balcony. You might think why would you use a hot tub in 30 degree heat but it was actually a nice way to relax in the evening. The staff were all absolutely excellent, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much hassle for them. This holiday was the perfect relaxation holiday. The hotel is adjacent to the beach. If you want to go for a swim on the sea I would however recommend walking further along the path to get to a less rocky section. The hotel is adults only which is exactly what we were after. Although keep in mind some neighbouring hotels aren’t adult only, but this really didn’t bother us. The ability to order cocktails (and food) to your sunbed, even the ones on the beach was excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever drank so many Pina Coladas. The sun beds are the comfiest I’ve ever used. The food each night was excellent, by far the best buffet food I’ve had at an all inclusive, there’s plenty of choice. Myself and my partner had a massage treatment and it was absolutely worth the money. I’d highly recommend booking in for a treatment. "
