Great breakfast, friendly owners. Disappointed with their pet friendly policy. A small fee for having our dog, no problem. Unfortunately once in our room their information book stated dogs, if go on beds a charge of £40 will be applied, no mention of this prior to booking. We paid for our stay, no problem. The following day £40 had been taken from card. No reason given or permission from us. If its about cleanliness then perhaps they could concentrate on cleaning remote control (absolutely filthy) and remove cobwebs

Lovely old inn with lots of character. Staff friendly & attentive. Landlord very helpful with local advice on places to visit. Food good & reasonably priced. Right at the edge of town so a fair walk to the centre. Plenty of parking.

The hotel was fantastic. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms are so spacious and clean. The food was delicious and so yummy. It was a treat for my mums birthday and she was not disappointed.

The hotel was built in 1765 and it is a wonderful old Scottish inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and big with a large bed. We had dinner at the hotel and the found was delicious. We would love to stay here again.

The dinner in the restaurant is excellent. Reservations are recommended. Staff very friendly. We were upgraded to a suite and it was newly done and spacious.

Staff was friendly and attentive. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel, both were excellent. They had to modify the room configuration slightly to meet our needs and were attentive to this. Communication with us was wonderful prior to arrival. View from the room of the mountains and river were terrific. Worth considering for a stay, would liked to have been able to stay longer.
