"It was cheap Fabulous location "

"very rustic basic simple hut accommodation, very quiet with the most amazing lake and mountain views. the restaurant is built right out into the lake. the overall place however is run down, the pool isnt clean and there arent many tourist facilities. the manager was annoying, the tv/dvd not working. having said that i enjoyed my stay here but only for a couple of days. i gorta bike taxie ride from across the rd to the hot springs which was about 20 mins away and well worth the visit both days."

"It was picturesque. the view from our room is exactly like these pictures show, because we were upgraded to the mountain view room. The downside was there were a LOT of bugs, but not harmful ones. so many moths, large flies, etc, because it was the lake area. So you had to manage that in your room big time. The washroom area was clean and nice, overall the bed was decently comfortable and we felt safe. The restaurant is very nice and has good food that you can also order to the room to eat,...

"Nice staff and at first look everything looks tidy and nice. Very pleased with the surroundings. However the bed was terrible like sleeping on the floor even the pillows felt like they were made of rock. Bathroom needed refurbishment badly. Overall I would say that you can’t complain since the price was so low so we got what we paid for "

"This hotel is a in a fantastic location and has a lot going for it. Pity the maintenance is not fully up to date for a 20 plus year old hotel. The staff are great and super helpful. The view and hot springs are wonderful and super relaxing. On a side note, don’t bother to ask for any specific or special requests as they don’t follow up. This was the second time we stayed in this hotel and we confirmed our request on our last stay 4 weeks ago."

"This hotel is quite bad - water was leaking from the ceiling, bathroom is horrible, bed not comfortable, the staff slept on a mattress in the middle of the lobby area, a dog was crying all night long. Lucky us we only stay there few hours, before going to an early morning hike to Mt Batur volcano. I'll recommend to stay in another hotel or even in Ubud and waked up 1h earlier."
