"This place was absolutely nice to be at. My husband and I shared our honeymoon here and enjoyed how peaceful and quiet it was. Enjoyed the view and loved the nice staff. Every morning they served fresh banana bread that my husband and I absolutely looked forward to every day. Driving anywhere was a bit of a drive BUT totally worth it because the island is absolutely gorgeous and meant we were able to explore more. "Property was great. Very clean. Staff were the best part. Very friendly. I noticed that the hotel was undergoing upgrades to some rooms, particularly the room right above mine. They started banging at 7am. And I did mention that thus was a disruption to my sleep and they took care of some of the charges applied to my room. I’m happy with the overall experience though. Would stay here again. "

"The 1919 historical home is a work in progress. Renovations are not totally complete, but the current condition is beautiful, quiet and quaint. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. I'd stay there again. When the place is filled, more organized parking would be a bonus."

"The location was around the corner to Target & multiple restaurants . Ala Wai canal across the street provides good area for morning walk. Away from the bustling crowds of Kalakaua Avenue & walking distance to beach were a consideration. My only greivance was vehicle noise & emergency vehicles useage nearby. The lobby was comfortable. Had a good view from.our balcony room."

"We loved our stay at Coconut! Hotel: The staff was wonderful, and I loved all the amenities - water filling station, coffee all day, popcorn happy hour, and beach towel availability. Location: We go to Hawaii often, and this is one of my favorite areas - walkable to everywhere in Waikiki and then to Ala Moana mall as well. Room: Ours had a kitchenette, which is key for us and our lanai overlooked the canal and mountains - stunning! Note: Parking is valet only and $40, but they are quick...
