"This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. Wish we had stayed longer…….

"My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. We hooked up to the Wi-Fi and looked for things to do but our host knew all the good things to do, he even organized a TukTuk tour with a local guide. Our tour was fantastic and such a great price. We took breakfast had delicious home cooked roti with coconut salad and chutney along with eggs and fruit. On the first night we ventured into the city for dinner and on the second night we stayed local. Both restaurants were good. The local shops were terrific, selling local fresh food. We moved on to South but wished we had stayed longer."
