They made me feel like a member of the family. The property was beautiful and well maintained, and my cabin sat right on Mindo River. The family helped me arrange transportation and helped with tour information. I would definitely stay at River Song again!"

"Incredible. Such a wonderful place to stay in the Mindo area. Really tucked away in the forest but only a 20-25min walk or $3 cab to the town. We stayed in the upper level of the lodge which was wonderfully positioned to watch the birds. Excellent service really recommend. "

"Bellavista Cloud Forest Reserve and Lodge is an amazing place to stay. They have extremely knowledgeable birding and wildlife guides and the people who work there are super nice. The food is great, although the options are limited. The rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Ours looked out into the cloud forest. Don't expect a luxury experience. This is a fairly remote location that is ideal for nature lovers and particularly birders. I would recommend getting a package if you go that...
