"The Quay apartments are very good once inside. Well presented equipped, warm with a great TV, bed and shower. There's a couple of handy shops adjacent to the building which is very convenient. Initially finding the property and parking was tricky as no obvious signage. I initially parked my car in an adjacent street and used google maps to walk to the entrance (which is shared with another business). Once fond staff were very helpful and friendly. "I stayed here for two nights (Saturday and Sunday) while visiting Bike Park Wales, and I was really impressed with the value for money. Booking just a week in advance, I only paid £55 for a two-person room with breakfast included—an absolute bargain! The room was clean and comfortable, though I did struggle a bit with temperature control. The window didn’t close fully, and while the radiator had adjustable heat, it wasn’t entirely clear when it was actually on or off throughout the day. That said, it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Breakfast was great—not anything particularly special, but definitely more than just the bare minimum for a continental breakfast, which was a nice touch. The shower was powerful and clean, though the mounts were a bit loose and wobbly. The location is a little out of the way, so if you don’t have a car, it might not be the most convenient. However, for the price, cleanliness, and overall experience, I’d absolutely stay here again. Perfect for a budget-friendly stay near Bike Park Wales!"

" Review of The Priory Hotel, Caerleon This was my third stay at The Priory Hotel, and it continues to be exceptional. The combination of historic charm and modern comfort makes it a standout choice in Caerleon. The rooms are simply amazing—beautifully designed, spacious, and incredibly comfortable. The beds are plush, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a perfect retreat. Every detail, from the furnishings to the thoughtful amenities, enhances the experience. The service is outstanding. The staff are welcoming, professional, and attentive, always making sure guests feel well taken care of. Whether checking in, dining, or asking for assistance, the hospitality is top-notch. The hotel’s ambience is both elegant and cozy, with a perfect balance of history and luxury. The recent refurbishment has made it even more inviting, enhancing the overall experience. For the quality offered, it provides great value. A few small extras, such as complimentary refreshments in the rooms, could enhance the stay even further. Having stayed three times, I can confidently say this is my go-to place in Caerleon.
