"We had a great 5-day stay at the hotel. The staff (except one), service and food were all perfect. After our checkout, we had an hour until our transfer and made the mistake of sitting at the outside part of the bar. The bar manager was very keen on patronizing and educating us on what is “normal” and what is not. Finally, when he took the chair off the field, saying “this is not normal” for our swimwear to dry on an outside bar chair, I couldn’t take it longer and had to leave the bar. It...

"Arrived late and collected the keys per instructions. The grounds are stunning and maintained to a high standard. Our apartment was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. Housekeeping every second day from arrival ensured it was kept clean. Staff all very pleasant and just a short walk to the beach and restaurants nearby. The main bus station is a 2 minute walk. Really lovely place to stay but when we were there in a January it was quite quiet especially in the evenings. "

"While I appreciated that it was a 'family' hotel, I would have preferred that one of the three pools available was adult-only. The exercise classes (and their 'leaders') were great, the table-waiting and cleaning staff were fabulous, and the food available was always excellent. "

"Fantastic hotel and great location. Only downfall was they don’t refill the coffee and sugar despite seeing that we are using it daily, also we were self catering with zero cooking appliances or tools, we had to ask for plates and cutlery and they cleaner then took them away and didn’t replace them. Also staff can be a little moody but the hotel itself is really lovely. We had room 1905 which was amazing with own terrace and two steps to the pool, it was like a swim up room, really lovely! "

"This was our seventh visit to this hotel and always feels like coming home. A relaxed holiday in wonderful surroundings. I had emailed requesting a certain room, which we had, so that was very much appreciated. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard. A recent renovation of the restaurant makes this a lovely place to eat and relax. Food is varied, do miss the morning coffee service but thats a personal view. Jordi, one of the managers is fantastic and attentive. It's lovely that he recognises us each year and will spend time with you. It is a shame that despite this being our seventh visit, it was not recognised at reception when checking in. The receptionist asked us if we had ever been before and was surprised that we had! It wont stop us visiting next year, but would make the checking in experience more personal. The amadores area is lovely, quiet at this time of year as expected but you can take a short walk to Puerto Rico for more bars and restaurants. A lovely break for us and have already booked our eighth visit in June next year."

"Tuvimos unas hermosas vacaciones en familia, no volveremos a hospedarnos en otro hotel que no sea Riu, la única recomendación sería que una piscina esté temperada sobretodo cuando el clima lo amerita, fue muy fria para mi pequeña hija, de todas maneras salimos contentos"
