"Location was good. 20mins drive from Batam Center Ferry Terminal and 5-10mins walk to Grand Batam Mall, 15-20 mins walk to BCS Mall. There are many eateries around. The room was spacious and clean. Though the furniture is a bit old, they are functional. The negative point is the bath tub. The design is not good as the water from either the shower head or the waterfall head will have some of the water onto the bathroom floor. "I booked and paid through EXPEDIA 1 room for 2 nights at Formosa Hotel, Batam, Indonesia. When my wife and I arrived at the hotel (by taxi), the hotel was totally CLOSED for renovation!!! "My suggestion is Expedia suppose to remove this hotel from their booking list, when I arrived I was given truly bad room with unclean bad... I question about it, and they said sine I booked via online / Expedia... this is only room available. Since the room is not in good condition, they asked me to pay additional cash to upgrade to better room and unfortunately I have no choice and end-up with I paid double the price. If Expedia is standing behind for their customers... I should get my money...
