"The view was amazing from our room. They charged me $40 dollars for a late check out. We had 2 rooms. They said that we needed to pay for both rooms. Because if we payed for one room. only 2 people would be able to go in the room. We booked with Expedia. It said free breakfast included. They also charged us for breakfast at the hotel. "

"Quarto espaçoso, mas muito escuro. Boas camas e lençois. Banheiro horroroso, pequeno, escuro, faltava uma lampada perto da pia, impossivel ver o espelho. O chuveiro foi o pior, mal saía agua, e se saía ou era super quente ou gelada. E a pressao sa agua variava a cada pouco. Pessimo banho, sem falar na cortina de plastico do box e nao havia nem onde guardar o sabonete. O hotel tambem é muito barulhento. No andar acima do meu era o cafe, entao desde pelo menos as 4h da manha havia gente falando,...

"Owner had left note on door to call when we arrived. Used payphone which took some time but finally worked. Owner was there within 15 mins. Older building but clean. Owner was very friendly. $10 soles taxi to airport. $6 soles to San Pedro market. Begin to downpour when we arrived so we where unable to walk around and see the historical sites. Our flight was moved up so only slept a few hours at hotel."

"The rooms were. Ice and clean but the proximity to the train station was disturbing in the morning. A good location if they can guarantee the river facing room. Staff was super nice!!!"

We visited in late October so did not experience the mosquitos from other reviews. What we did experience was the view and the sound of the water flowing in the river. "It’s not a 4 star hotel. It’s an affordable, comfortable and clean pit-stop before or after the climb to MP. My 3 kids and husband slept comfortably. "
