Cons: Pet fee $55, plus tax ON the pet fee which we were told was a pet cleaning fee. This was in addition to the regular room cost and fees, taxes paid when booking on Expedia. When pulling out the sofa bed, we noticed animal hair all over the mattress in addition to on the carpeted floor. Not sure where the charged pet fee is going but it didn’t appear to be used for this room after the last guest with a pets. The sofa bed mattress was also in rough shape-old, flat and soiled. For the price of our stay, we had hoped for a cleaner, more comfortable room. Pro: our room was on the first floor and close to the entrance which made it convenient for transporting luggage and kids. The ratings on this hotel were great but we found our stay didn’t match the expectations for the price and previous ratings online. I would not stay here again. There are other hotels in the area, in the same price range which do not charge an extra pet fee.

The hotel was surprisingly nice. I read the reviews and either it was the best thing ever, or the worst place in hell. So my opinion was it was much nicer than I expected. It was clean, the bed was comfortable, good sized room, bathroom was clean too. I especially liked the larger compact refrigerator in the room and how it actually made our drinks cold! I find that most hotel refrigerators take about 2 weeks to make anything cold.

Ease in getting to hotel from my travel route. Must note > no fault of hotel, but city planning> as I was going North I had to make a loop on Island Road that is in the middle of a curve on an incline, and is very hard to see traffic either direction..then, one has to make an immediate left to get back on 17 as the hotel is on the Southside. As soon as it seemed clear, I made the turn, but cars appeared from both directions...thankful I made it, but it was a bit unnerving. I am going to have to make the same loop today, as I am on on the South side of 17, and need to travel North....not sure how this could be corrected....but felt it was important to make others aware. Ref the hotel and general location, it was otherwise perfect. Night desk clerk was very helpful, price was good, very clean and comfortable.
