"Away from the hassle of Pescara, this hidden gem is great to chill out and de-stress. The rooms are somewhat basic but the restaurant and pool area are excellent, opening out on to stunning views of the surrounding hills and sea in the distance. The owners were very keen to please - nothing was too much trouble - and the food was excellent - popular with the locals in the evenings which is a good sign. "We had an over night stay here. We struggled to find the place as our gps kept sending us to a quarry. Hotels.com map was no help either. Google maps worked perfectly! We had booked late and our arrival was not expected! Not a good start I thought BUT I was so wrong! On arrival we were offered a glass of local wine and snacks. "The host family is kind and generous. They worked very hard to make us feel welcome. Our room was lovely with twin beds made up as a king; it had a bunk bed that we did not use. As in most of the places we stayed, wifi was slow; I used my cell phone data instead. Their breakfast was wonderful, with way too much delicious food, served in a lovely setting."
