"The apartment needs serious updates if not a complete renovation. The microwave plug doesn’t reach the outlet. The kitchen cookware is rusty and bent. We found a dead roach in a tea cup. "I cant say enough good things about this place and the customer service that i received. The pictures show exactly how the place look. Its sparkling clean, really comfortable and quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped with all you need. Now i wont look any further any time i have a trip to Rio. Another plus for this property is the doorman: they are also amazing and really helpful. "This is my second time staying here. It is clean, pleasant, and reasonably priced. Most appreciate that it is in the touristy area of Santa Teresa and near LAPA. That is nice too. There's also a great view of the center from most rooms. My only minus, which isn't tied to the place, is that if you're out late, it can be difficult to get an uber up into the steep hills of Santa Teresa. Most taxis will though."

"The unit was safe, quiet, and had a lot of things to do in the area. The 24 hour doorman/security staff was also very nice. Unfortunately, the unit was infested with cockroaches (many of all sizes every day throughout the entire stay, not just one here and there). Relax and enjoy the view.

"The hotel is classically beautiful with its spacious rooms, colourfully and tastefully decorated. I'm not surprised many celebrities have stayed there! The bed is super comfortable and the blackout blinds left all the day light outside so we could have a nice lie in the next morning. The hotel is super clean and tidy. They offer you a glass of champagne upon arrival making you feel very welcomed. The staff are really friendly and helpful, they go an extra mile to ensure you're satisfied. The pool area is just gorgeous with the colourful parasols contrasting with the pure white of the building around it! Very romantic. The location is wonderful, you just have to cross the road to be at the iconic Copacabana beach. It was throughout a fantastic experience and we'd love to be back again soon. "

"Chose this hotel for the area and view over the harbour and sugar loaf mountain. Hotel itself is next to the domestic airport so ideal for travellers which made it quite a busy hotel. It has plenty of amenities onsite and close by. There is a rooftop pool and restaurant (with views to die for), a gym and nearby shops and alternate eateries. The rooms are modern and comfortable with a fully stocked fridge and plenty of space for luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful despite being busy. The breakfast was amazing with a huge choice to suit all. Some parakeets came to visit in the morning too which were lovely to see as well as a few other birds but didn’t cause any problems. Would highly recommend both for convenience to the airport and area"
