"This place wasn’t fancy or special but we had a great stay because they got all the basics right. Automated check-in and coded entry to room and main house was a breeze. We stayed in Clare Cottage at the back of the property. Appreciated the extra portable electric heater that we used instead of the wall mounted unit at night: it kept us warm and was nice and quiet. "If you like an old house, you will love this place. Old home with a modern twist. Very nice home. Walking distance to a nice Mexican restaurant. The owner Mike is very nice. However, my wife and I would have preferred to have our breakfast in private and NOT have a conversation while we were eating but other than that you will have a peaceable stay here. Mike makes the best Crumb Cake I had ever tasted. You will love his breakfast."
