"Really great base for exploring the Lake District.lovely quiet area with a really pleasant atmosphere. We had a 2 bed lodge which was clean and well kitted out with everything you need. "I might have misread the blurb, was expecting a kitchenette and a full size fridge so was surprised to find just a kettle and mini fridge. My room was one of the tiny ones which was expected, room was clean as was shower & toilet. Bed was a single but comfy, slept like a baby although the 14 miles walked helped! Nice pub next door with quiz on Thursdays! Overall good value, and help only a phone call away. Good location on a quiet road midway between Windermere and Bowness"

"The apartment we stayed in was beautiful. We loved the decor and the apartment was so clean. The kitchen was well equipped. Onsite parking was a big bonus. It was a short walk to Bowness pier with plenty of shops and places to eat on the way. Excellent communication with the host. We would certainly recommend a stay here. We will certainly be returning. "There was a damp smell upon arrival. When we looked around we could see there had been a leak from the bathroom staining the ceilings and carpets. The bathroom door did not lock and there property was generally in a poor state of repair. Marks on every wall and paint peeling from the window sills.
