"The Tru hotel is ultra modern, but lacked a swimming pool, a room safe, and a bar/restaurant. They did have games, including a pool table in the lobby. They did have items you could purchase around the desk, but they were very expensive. A 20 ounce bottle of Coke was four dollars. We ended up driving to Walmart to get our stuff. "The hotel clerk at check in is always my first impression and generally rates the stay. If they are awful, everything else is sour. Becky the clerk was very rude. The hotel charged $75 for a regular dog stay. Understandable due to cleaning BUT I booked the stay via hotels.com and there it states $50. Attempted to speak about the mislabel somewhere and Becky would not even let me finish my sentence. She stated I did not need to speak to her in a tone. This girl would not even let me finish...
