"The hotel was in a great location between ischia porta and ischia ponte. Close to so many bars, restaurants and shops. Reception staff we so lovely and helpful, as were the breakfast staff. The hotel is as it appears in photos - old fashioned in style throughout. The pool area was not the cleanest but fine. If you are ok with this then i would highly recommend and definitely value for money. Room was clean, beds comfortable, family room just about big enough for 2 adults and 2 teens."

"The Hotel Terme Oriente was an excellent choice for our 5 day vacation on Ischia. The location was good with accessibility to many shops and restaurants. "My daughter and I had a wonderful 6 days at Continental Mare. Our room was upgraded (thank you very, very much!) and the staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfasts were very good, with great gluten-free options. The shuttle to town was very helpful and the short-cut walking path to town gave us a bit of exercise, but was easier than I expected. No negatives at all - our stay was excellent."

"The hotel in general was nice, clean and well maintained, however our room was below satisfaction, very small, the bathroom was very small and dated, difficult to use the shower as it was so small. "I cannot say enough good things about Anna or the property. Lets start with Anna - she is the most beautiful of people inside and out, warm, welcoming, happy, helpful, communicative on local stuff, sharing The place was idyllic, situated with a balcony overlooking the water, walking distance to everything, bus ride outside the door around the island, breathtaking views everywhere. Our favorite place of the whole trip, wish we'd stayed longer and will try to book again next time"
