"The hotel was old and badly needs updating in terms of interiors. The elevators were beat-up looking. The bathrooms and rooms were spacious and clean but the furnishings were old. It seems only a piece or two of furniture here and there were reupholstered recently. The sheets were clean but scratchy with low thread count and the pillows although down feathers- was near empty/hollow. The closet pantry was well stocked but smelled awful (at least) in our room. "Nice spacious rooms with a large bright washroom. Room and property was very clean and in good condition. Parking for only 5€ and we didn’t eat breakfast in the restaurant so unable to comment on food. Hotel is in a remote area 20-25 mins from downtown Frankfurt. Noisy with highway traffic if you want to open windows. "

"The location is amazing. Close to the train station and in the heart of sachsenhausen walking distance from a lot of great restaurants and bars. I loved the old house charm and decor with really quaint wall papers. The only issue is there is no elevator. So not great for older people, people with disabilities or if you have lots of luggage unless you can get a room on the ground floor. Even the entrance is not wheel chair accessible as there are a set of steps to get in. "

"We stayed three nights in a superior double which was large and comfortable. Receptionist/manager was friendly and helpful. Quite a few stairs so for some people it might be worth enquiring about accessible roooms. We did not require housekeeping but this was available on request. We breakfasted at the cafe next door.
