"We only stayed the 1 night but would love to head back and explore. The outdoor areas are vast, great for the kids to run around and absolutely stunning view over the creek from a really comfortable viewing deck which we sat with a beer and watched the sunset. We briefly walked down to the creek and used the properties kayaks which we loved. We had a fire next to the cottage and toasted marshmallows such fun. "Hidden Gem!!! We absolutely loved our stay here! The photos online do not do the place justice, the cabins are beautiful and have absolutely everything you need. The cabins are far enough apart for privacy and Jo was extremely responsive in the lead up and during our stay! "

"A cottage well off the beaten track. No TV and wifi for 2 nights. Then it rained and the cloud was low so sightseeing was out of the question. Spent the day blobbing out reading and DVD watching. Best possible place to spend a day doing this."

The cottage was excellent and Dom has everything you need on hand for breakfast to the bread machine and a bottle of port to warm you up, he also has the log fire prepared for you to light when ready. Nothing like sitting in a warm spa under the stars it a must "

"Staying at Madison’s Mountain Retreat was the perfect getaway and experience for my family. We stayed 3 nights and really enjoyed the atmosphere of the grounds. Anne’s warm welcome and knowledge about the animals was excellent and we all enjoyed feeding the Alpacas, Llamas & Goats. The indoor pool was great for a quick swim & we felt nice and cosy in the rustic cabin accommodation which had a lovely view of the alpacas and farm. We will definitely be back. "

Beautiful property and gardens makes for the perfect setting and great location . All the extra touches such as cheese board, wine and breakfast supplies were a great touch.
