We were very disappointed with several of our meals. Several dishes were so overcooked that they were inedible. However, the buffet had a variety of great choices. Evening entertainment was lack-luster compared to a previous trip to a different all-inclusive resort.

Beautifully remodeled property for adults only. Food choices are good, excellent service. Good walking available off the property, very safe. Long stretches of beach walking too. Many guests repeat their stays here, including us!

Great property! The nicest of the three Riu's on the beach (and only one that's adults only). As other reviews stated, the staff were super friendly and always accommodating. The place was always being cleaned and it showed. Drop your taco on the floor anywhere on the property, just pick it up and eat it... you'll be fine. The drinks served were mostly pretty good and never much wait for a server to come around. They had a craft cocktail cart in lobby that served different drinks each night. I was even able to get a pretty decent Mexican IPA in the sports bar. The coffee station in the lobby was the best. Even when it was busy, they got through the line quickly. Some tasty pastries there and they have fresh sandwiches in the case around 2pm that were very good. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. the beds could've been a little firmer, but were fine. Terrible ventilation in the bathrooms. Cancelled our reservation for the steam room and just ran our shower for 10 minutes. Great people watching at the pool. Some very questionable fashion choices and outfits not leaving much to the imagination when you wish they would. People drinking all day long, but surprisingly the mood always stayed pretty mellow. We thought the food was really the only disappointing part of the stay. We tried all the venues expect Krystal. Everything just lacked a bit and was bland in flavor. One exception was probably the antipasto bar at the Italian place that we all liked.
