"Perfect location for a lovely stay in Lisbon. Smallish hotel in ideal location in Alfama district. Close to the castle and easily walkable to most areas of Lisbon. Right on the 28 tram tracks. Great staff and facilities. Nice rooms, if a little small. Views right across Lisbon to the river. Yummy breakfast and 24 hr free hot drinks. You even get a mural to look at during breakfast on the courtyard. Highly recommended."

"Beautiful building around the old walls. Terrific museum on site which is well worth a visit. Breakfast was very average and staff not very friendly. Ordered a vodka and tonic from the bar to be told they had none. Receptionist was extremely nice which made up somewhat for the rest of the staff. "

"Very clean and comfortable rooms , not good location to city center but can use taxi ( not expensive) need more electricity outlet amd more lightning in rooms, better change carpets, amazing breakfast "
