"The Generator hostel is across the road from the train station which was very convenient for us. Check in was slow as there we many people checking in at the same time, rooms are small but clean, bathroom is tiny but still useable. Breakfast was 9 euro, there are laundry facilities for 6 euro. There are plenty of restaurants within a 10 minute walk. For our 1 night stay this hostel is perfect "

"Business trip to Hamburg. Good location for the “hustle and bustle”. Staff on arrival were great (two guys). Staff on departure (female) sadly not so good as I tried to book a taxi to the airport and she wasn’t particularly helpful. I ended up walking down the street and ordered an Uber. "

"The rooms were big, which was great. Each floor had a couple of showers and toilets, also good. But there was more negative than positive. Location wasn’t close to a lot of food places and I didn’t feel particularly safe walking around at night. There is no lift, so hauling luggage up flights of stairs wasn’t great. Shower on 2nd floor wasn’t working properly, it was either boiling hot or freezing cold and the showerhead wouldn’t switch to rain shower, so it was a bit awkward showering. There...

"Rezeption nie besetzt. Checkin steht auf Webseite 17 Uhr, ich komme an. Der Rezeptionist kommt um 18 Uhr mit der Mitteilung dass checkin erst um 18 uhr ist. Dabei hing am Brett der Zettel ebenfalls mit 17 Uhr. Konnte ich eine Stunden warten. Dann war das eine WC von oben bis unten vollgebrochen oder fäkal verunreinigt für einen Tag. "The property is located on a side street, which is wonderful. It is quiet and sleeping works well. These are singke rooms but each floor has a shared bathroom, which I didn't realize.
