Couch in room dirty; horrible mattresses and pillows; hair in beds; carpet stained, worn and dirty; walls marked and scuffed; kitchenette terrible - taps and sink dirty, extractor oily and smelly. "I want to point out that the only thing positive in our stay was the sympathy of the staff, all the other areas didn't go well. First of all, they gave us an accessible room that was not shown in the photos, whenever I went to the bathroom it looked like I was in a hospital. The floor had stains all over the carpet and the AC didn't work. Don't recommend it. "

"If you’re looking at this hotel, do yourself a favor and stay there. The experience is outstanding. Quiet and very private. The owner gave us a tour of the property, which used to be a vineyard owned by his family. Quite amazing how well they renovated the property. Dinner was 5 star. Wine selection the same. My wife and I will stay there every time we travel back to Portugal. Two thumbs up!"

"It was pleasant, but extremely basic! There were nothing to drink water with - not even throw away cups! The pilows were about 5 metres thick. As far as towels were concerned we had two bath towels and only one face towel. The rooms were clean. The breakast was more than expected and fresh and enjoyable. The breakfast area was modern with lovely touches, the design of the chairs surprisingly delightful. The location of the hotel was spot on!"
