"This property is magical. It's exactly as pictured. If you want to get away from it all this is your place. The staff couldn't be more gracious. One thing to note: No real beach here. you can swim in the water but no sand. luckily a water taxi makes a beach a ride away. Make sure to bring snacks and/or cash as there is no where nearby to get either. Five stars otherwise"

You are literally on a remote island that is off the grid! The only place to connect with the outside world is in the main clubhouse where there is satellite internet, which we didn't mind at all bc we were definitely trying to unplug. "We are so happy we stayed at Akwaba Lodge. The grounds are well maintained and we had opportunity to walk around and explore.
