This property is not the same it was 2017. Broken shower control, hair on mattress, cover to HVAC is loose, toilet paper holder was loose, electrical cables sitting in water at pool area, and elevator at spa area out of service. Will not return.

Overall the experience was great, however the food was poor. The meat at the steak house was pure fat and barely contain any meat. Some of the food in the buffet was bland and stale. I would suggest adding Dominican food into the menu. In regard to events it was fun, though I wish they played more Latin music, such as salsa, bachata, and merengue. I’ve notice that the crowd responded better with this type of music. Overall the staff was friendly and the property was clean.

It’s a beautiful, large resort with no lack of things to do. Beach and pool areas are lovely with plenty of bars. There’s live music and entertainment at night and a nightclub that was kicking on a Saturday night. My husband and I stayed there and we don’t have kids so I can’t speak to the kid-friendly features. There are trams to take you out around as it’s a very large property but we didn’t mind the 10 to 15-minute walk from our room near the beach to the main building where the restaurants and shops are located. I loved staying near the beach as that’s where we spent most of our time. There was some wear and tear with the facilities and renovations going on but that’s to be expected with regular upkeep. The food was decent but I’ve learned that most DR resorts don’t have outstanding food. We don’t go to DR resorts for the food …it’s all about beaches, pools, great weather and relaxing!

The food was fantastic everywhere we went to eat. Even at the buffet. The room was super nice and clean. Staff is very welcoming. Also they had small stations of for drinks and food all around the hotel. Great hotel and stay.

For a 5 star property, not worth it. All inclusive was not all inclusive, they keep on selling extras for real high prices (you want a good spot at the pool or beach, with shade? Buy a bottle of spirit for 300usd! You want a nice cocktaiĺ, not included pay seperately), on top the timeshare kind of selling is very agressive and time consuming. Most dinner is average, noisy big dining areas, good service, average food. Nothing close to luxury or 5 star quality. Entertainment in Hard Rock hotel, in Dominican Republic, we expected some more fun. Most music 20-60 year old (beatles etc), lame entertainment. Overall, 560usd per night, absolutely waist of money.

I love the resort butni had to cut it short they wasnt trying to give me no upgrade so every night around 6pm i had to cut it short because i did not feel safe our bedroom door wich was 8475 building 8c never shut it had a locked but it never locked with a light push to the door well the door use to open all the way we did not feel safe to leave our personal belongings in a resort hell freaking no i try telling the front staff the next day i told them i did not feel safe i didnot told her about the door because i wasnt sure if all the resort rooms had the same isssue i ask about an upgeade of our room she said it was full wich was bulcrap every day there was a large group leavibg and i ask the room service staff and they said there was more than 80 rooms empty so why were they lien also the ar rea i was in with my fiance that entire area they were remodiling rooms painting so why let us rent in a area where they were painting and fixing room i was literaly next to rooms where they were upgrading and painting i fell unsafe we had cash jewelry in our safe luckily they were one in our bedroom but cloth expensive shoes i did not feel safe leaving it there so every day for the entire week we were there we never went out at night time cause of our bedroom not being able to shut my boss from my company had recommended this place wich they have timeshares etc on this place i cant wait to explain to him what had happen i really dont think i would ever go back did not felt safe

I LIKE THE PROPERTY IS AMAZING, THE ONLY THING WAS PAIN IS THE TRAM, TAKE FOR EVER TO COME. BATHROOM COULD BE BETTER.
