"Generally the hotel was spotless, the staff helpful and friendly and the breakfast excellent. Only 3 downsides. Firstly, the room was very small and the shower room so tiny you could scarcely turn round. Secondly, the hotel is a fair hike from Villers centre. Buses are few and far between and taxis don't exist in Villers and there isn't much around the hotel. Thirdly, the stairs from the underground car park come up outside the hotel. Got soaked. "Absolutely amazing stay. The location could not be better right in the centre of the old town area. The surrounding area had endless shops, cafes and restaurants in amazingly picturesque buildings. Victor could not do enough to ensure our stay was special. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was beautiful fresh local produce and bakery items. "A couple of days exploring the area, Caen made a good base. This is a comfortable b&b (breakfast is extra) parking in place de la république is easy and 3 mins walk. No lift which made it a bit of a hassle with our luggage and no one there to check us in but info was sent via email."

"Really gorgeous hotel, grounds are very pretty and well kept. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only thing that was missing was there wasn’t a restaurant on site for evening meals. But there was a lovely snack menu and Deauville was 10 mins drive away and has plenty of restaurants. Would highly recommend. "

"Bâtisse ancestrale magnifique mais malheureusement les prestations et le service manquent de perfection pour un 5 étoiles et le prix demandé : attente au bar de 45 mn sans être servies, salle de bain très sommaire, madeleines signature en vente à 12 euros plutôt qu’être données, pas de voiturier, de as d’aide pour les valises, pas d’accompagnement à la chambre.
