"We had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good and the room was comfortable. A few things to note, though: - the hotel is a good 15m walk from the walls of Lucca, so you need to plan your days as it’s not easy to pop back during the day, especially in the heat of August. Bike hire is extra - 35 euro a day. - the pool is lovely - comfortable and a lovely space to relax. However, it’s only open from 10am - 7pm which was a shame as it’s not possible...

"I liked everything. The Host is really nice & helpful. She gave us recommendations for where to eat in Lucca & where to park in Pisa. The breakfast was a feast. The B&B is beautiful & decorated with antiques. They have free parking in a private courtyard & a big flower garden that the guests are welcome to enjoy. My wife & son did art in the garden & loved it. The family that runs the place is very nice & welcoming. If we come back to Lucca we will stay here for sure. "

"Luca is the owner of this boutique hotel and is a perfect host! He picked us up and dropped us off at the train station and helped us with tourist information as needed. Breakfast was full of everything you can imagine. I loved that the hotel is just beyond the walled area, so as you walk home at night after dinner, you experience the lights that surround the walls. "The overall experience was very pleasant, a lovely place to stay and surrounding area was nice with places to eat and a little supermarket 1 minute away. The only thing initially was when checking in there was only a woman that spoke Italian so was a bit confusing for me but she still gave me the key for the room etc...a little afterwards another woman was there that could speak English and the payment was sorted out. "No one was around for check-in, but we were emailed instructions for entry. Finally met staff next morning, who's very nice. Room is very small, very basic. Looks better in the pictures.
