"We booked the apartment for its proximity to Ischgl, since prices were a bit lower in Mathon (there's an excellent bus service connecting skiers to Ischgl from Mathon). The apartment was clean and comfortable, but lacking in basic amenities like hand soap! "Lot of construction on the way up the hill to the hotel. GPS got confused gping on the goat path, the only way we could get there. We new it would be somewhat isolated so we brought a few food items because the kitchen was advertised. Olny one pot. No frying pan. Very poorly equipped compaired to the advertisement and what we expected. A breakfas was offeted for a ridiculous price. We had hope to make our own. We got stuck on the ground floor with no view. "Excellent staff. Compact ski apartment with small kitchen. Lovely spa area. No freezer and multifunction microwave only. Sofa beds makes for uncomfortable sofa and balcony furniture needs cushions. Hot inside. View disppointing ( car park behind river). Would be great location for skiing as near lift. Breakfast a nice surprise. "

Great location and hotel

"The hotel has a beautiful bar and wonderful restaurant. The views from the room were spectacular. Our room in the Schloss was huge even though we just got a standard double room. There was even a walk-in closet. The decor was very traditional and the bathroom was big but was done in an old fashion style with a long narrow bath with a shower attachment. More modern decor is in the outer buildings.They have an elevator so accessibility is good in the Schloss except for the restaurant where there are a few steps to go up. The reception desk staff were very friendly and could speak multiple languages. I could converse in English with them. The location is very convenient with free parking. It is a very easy walk over to the thermal baths in the Bad Ragaz resort. Walking to the town center took me about 5 minutes. The breakfast at the hotel which is included was terrific with many options to appeal to different nationalities. The restaurant in the evening was wonderful with an Indian buffet."

"I had the best 5 day stay at mountain plaza in Davos. Before arriving I had requested to cancel a day for a refund as my plans changed. I called the front desk and had a lovely conversation with Fabio. This was a bit of foreshadowing to my stay. I arrived from Zurich and was delighted to discover it was just a few minutes from Davosnplatz train station, surrounded by shopping, dinning and entertainment, steps away from the ski hill jacobshorn. Greeted by Lorena, and again the hospitality was amazing, another lovely conversation. Lorena always greeted me throughout the reminder of my stay, which made it feel like my home in Davos. The room itself was perfect and the amenities were completely satisfying. I enjoyed breakfast every morning with a varied selection and stunning view of the mountains. My favourite was the fully stocked gym with as much equipment as I have at my gym in Toronto. This was easily one of the best vacations of my life and it would not have been the same without mountain plaza and its staff "
