But for now (and reviews dating back to 2009 confirm this), the hotel is an unappealing construction site--noisy, dusty, ugly. We arrived to loud banging and drilling and found live wires hanging all over the place, including in the pool area! My child desperately needed an afternoon nap, which was impossible. "This was a reasonable place to stay in a somewhat out of the way part of France. If you are interested in lutherie and the history of mechanical music Mirecourt is a very interesting place to visit. However a stay in Contrexeville or Vittel might provide additional places to see and visit. The spiral staircase inside Le Luth offers a challenge if you are almost 79 and have large suitcases. Nonetheless, a comfortable place to stay for the night and a nice breakfast in the morning."
