"I’m new to hostels, but after staying at Wise Owl in Tokyo... I nearly considered getting a hotel after I checked in. The place is basically an old apartment building I think. "I stayed here the night before I had an extremely early flight out of Osaka Itami airport. The owner was very friendly and we chatted for a little while before I headed out for the night. The 10 minute walk from the nearest train station was a bit inconvenient with my luggage, but the walk was very quiet and (of course) safe, winding through dense 1 and 2-story properties.
