"Glarnerhof has always been a great place to stay and to eat. The restaurant is very busy with locals for lunch and dinner. I had lamb twice that was so mild that I might have thought it was beef. The hotel is undergoing a remodel which will be done soon but I did not encounter too much trouble from that. "Very nice property. I was surprised that there aren't more reviews. I believe the last review I saw before my stay was over a year ago. Nonetheless, great property and value, great location, very clean, and only a couple blocks from the lake in the historic center part of town. The only observation I would make is that head space is limited on the second floor due to the slanted roof. "
